Bicycling at Emory

Emory supports a bicycling culture for those who cycle to work, and those who bicycle around campus. Consider cycling to work or class as a healthier and cheaper alternative to driving.

Emory's bicycle commuter program provides incentives for those who choose to cycle instead of driving to work. Once cyclists register they receive an Occasional Parking Permit, which will allow them to drive and park in inclement weather.

Bike Emory is a unique partnership between Emory, Fuji Bikes, an international bicycle retailer, and Bicycle South, a bicycle outlet near Emory's campus. Through the Bike Emory program students, faculty and staff can:

purchase Fuji bikes at a discount;
have bike repairs on campus weekly at the Mobile Repair Center;
borrow bikes for free on campus through the Bike Share program; and
participate in safe cycling programs and other activities.
